WHAT SHE SAID....OFFICIAL APOLOGY TO THE GAY COMMUNITY....

WHAT SHE SAID.....ANOTHER FOOT IN HER MOUTH....

WHAT HE SAID...IN RESPONSE TO FANTASIA....

Hey sis!

My father used to tell me “I’m only doing this because I love you” right after he beat my ass for doing something I wasn’t supposed to do. With that being noted, I’d like for you to read (used lightly) this using the same sentiment.

From the beginning I’ve always been a fan of yours. I remember my friends dogging you after watching your American Idol audition, saying you looked like a stand in for the hood’s version of Donald Duck. I personally could care less about that nor did I let the question of how many food stamps you had to sell to get to the audition linger in my head for too long. Why? Because you were different, you had a story, and you could really REALLY sing.

I’ve cried to, worshiped with, made love to, ate bacon and chicken while listening to, healed from, and strip-teased to your entire catalogue, both released and unreleased. From “Baby Mama” to “Control Freak,” from “Move On Me Baby” to your cover of Elton’s “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word,” – I’ve BEEN HERE!

Now that I’ve given you a little history, I’m sure you can understand why I was so caught off guard by your statement on instagram last night. I don’t know whether you’re going to be cool or come out of the bag on me with this one so I’m going to keep it super light.

Never mind your lack of proper spelling (something I know you’ve struggled with visibly over the years) or the fact that you were standing on a table in a spandex snuggie – lets focus on the intentions of what you typed. It’s one thing to feel chastised and judged and express that accordingly, but it’s another to do to others what you don’t want done to yourself.

You stated that the world has gone mad and that not only kids but the government (take note of the n) and the church house as well are trying you. You complained about weed and gay marriage being legal and totally referenced it to being completely against what’s being taught in the bible as though that was supposed to make your situation any better or worse.
Now sis.

Lets just move outside of the bible on this one because it tends to be tossed around and used as a weapon of mass destruction only when the target isn’t one’s self. And being that you’re a mother of more than one child out of wedlock, one with a man who was definitely married at the time of conception, wrapping your lips around anything with the bible being the base shouldn’t be in your ministry. Especially considering that you are still unmarried. Unmarried. Oh and UNMARRIED.

As a celebrity you walk into this entire new world of being scrutinized and looked at as a super human like figure. When you gain a certain level of popularity you have to recognize and understand that it is up to you to pick and choose how the world views you. Accept that and live your life.

You can’t fuck up in public and then expect to never hear about it again. I mean you tried to kill yourself using sleep-aids bro? Over a married man who you then had a baby with, gave the last name to, and still ended up without a ring. That’s a big deal home girl.

I can understand you wanting people out of your business and into your music but when you are so publically careless with your vagina, you kind of put the negativity on the forefront. Gays are primarily the grunt of every female artist’s fan base, especially people like you. To put your struggle (or sin as you refer to them) against theirs because you’re tired of being picked on isn’t the move. And that whole weed thing? Girl. Plants are just that. Plants. This one just happens to put you above the clouds, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I wish you, Chris Brown, Jazmine Sullivan, Tyrese, Keri Hilson and artists alike all had true media training. Sometimes it’s best to just shut all of the fucks up even when you’re dying to pop off. People can’t wait for you to do things just as this so they can hit you where it hurts.

The next time you want to throw a fit across the inter webs; at least have one of the little ones proofread it for you. If nothing else you should know that the kids are going to eat you alive on that note alone. I really want you to be great but you so have to start doing better. Don’t feel bad about the backlash either. Sometimes you gotta lose to win.

Until next time,

Slay something.

-Ahmier

AMERICA'S FIRST GAY PRESIDENT.....(HE WOULD DEFINITELY GET MY VOTE)

Mayor Booker is thought to be one of Democrats’ best chances to unseat Mr. Christie. However, Mr. Christie’s handling of Hurricane Sandy and his subsequent embrace of President Barack Obama was a public relations coup for the governor. A Quinnipiac poll of New Jersey voters released last month showed, though Mr. Booker has the strongest chances of any Democrat against Mr. Christie, the incumbent would handily defeat him in a potential matchup 53 percent to 35 percent. In October, a Quinnipiac poll found a hypothetical race between Mr. Booker and Mr. Christie would be much tighter with the governor holding a slim 46 percent to 42 percent lead.

OFFICIAL PRESS CONFERENCE CONCERNING CT SHOOTING....MR. PRESIDENT...

WHAT HE SAID....THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES REGARDING SHOOTING IN CT....

This afternoon, I spoke with Governor Malloy and FBI Director Mueller. I offered Governor Malloy my condolences on behalf of the nation, and made it clear he will have every single resource that he needs to investigate this heinous crime, care for the victims, counsel their families.

We’ve endured too many of these tragedies in the past few years. And each time I learn the news I react not as a President, but as anybody else would -- as a parent. And that was especially true today. I know there’s not a parent in America who doesn’t feel the same overwhelming grief that I do.

The majority of those who died today were children -- beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. They had their entire lives ahead of them -- birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own. Among the fallen were also teachers -- men and women who devoted their lives to helping our children fulfill their dreams.

So our hearts are broken today -- for the parents and grandparents, sisters and brothers of these little children, and for the families of the adults who were lost. Our hearts are broken for the parents of the survivors as well, for as blessed as they are to have their children home tonight, they know that their children’s innocence has been torn away from them too early, and there are no words that will ease their pain.

As a country, we have been through this too many times. Whether it’s an elementary school in Newtown, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago -- these neighborhoods are our neighborhoods, and these children are our children. And we're going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics.

This evening, Michelle and I will do what I know every parent in America will do, which is hug our children a little tighter and we’ll tell them that we love them, and we’ll remind each other how deeply we love one another. But there are families in Connecticut who cannot do that tonight. And they need all of us right now. In the hard days to come, that community needs us to be at our best as Americans. And I will do everything in my power as President to help.

Because while nothing can fill the space of a lost child or loved one, all of us can extend a hand to those in need -- to remind them that we are there for them, that we are praying for them, that the love they felt for those they lost endures not just in their memories but also in ours.

May God bless the memory of the victims and, in the words of Scripture, heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS...

There are some “friends with benefits” situations that never should have started. The arrangement rarely turns out “all good” but somehow FWB tend to last longer than they should.

Why is that, though? If you have someone waiting in the wings, how much real effort do you devote to finding something more meaningful? I feel as if there are certain signs that let you know when the benefits of Friends with Benefits should run out. It should not have to come to a messy end, though.

I believe the key is being proactive and getting real about where things stand. Tell the truth when your feelings have changed. Have you ever gone had a friends with benefits situation?

How did you know when to cut it off? How long should FWB situations really last?

Happy Friday!

SEXY IS AS SEXY DOES....

12 RELATIONSHIPS TRUTHS YOU NEED TO RECOGNIZE.....

1. Yes, you are a prize but not for every damn body. Each of you individually is a prize... for someone. Maybe two or three someones but not for everybody.

2. Just because someone is a "good" man or woman, does not mean they are "good" for you.

3. Liking someone, lusting for someone and loving someone are not the same thing. Unless they come as a package deal for both parties in which case, when's the wedding?

4. If you've had three or more failed relationships in a row, you are the common denominator. (looks in mirror, sticks out tongue) #Arithmetic

5. Grown men and women in committed relationships cannot be stolen from one and other. Someone makes the conscious decision to leave.

6. The more you tell us how fabulous your life with so-and-so is, the less we believe you. My godparents have been married for 53 years. Every time I have asked how they are doing for the past 20 years, they respond "Baby we fine and we living." Okay? Keep your business off these inna-web-social-nets.

7. The idea that anybody is better than nobody is a blatant-assed lie.

8. The idea that marriage is a magical panacea for all that "ails" black women is an ignorant lie.

9. The idea that marriage and babies are the end-all, be-all for everyone to achieve happiness is a little naive.

10. The argument over $200 dates is pure foolishness. If you can't afford it, don't do it and for Baby Jesus' sake - quit bitching about it.

11. The idea that a man that you do not know, who does not know you (and whose relationship history is shady as all the trees in the Sierra Nevada put together) has the answers to your relationship woes is not only foolery, it is a HUSTLE. Quit buying into the hustle.

12. Ladies and Gentlemen, last but not least - a rhyme stolen from a Hallmark card: A better you makes a better two. Please work on fix your issues instead of looking for someone to fix them for you. That "you complete me" nonsense is a great movie line and no more. Complete yourself.

SOME FRIDAY BEAUTY....

12 THINGS THAT HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO....

1. They create and pursue S.M.A.R.T. goals Successful people create and pursue S.M.A.R.T. goals that are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. When you identify S.M.A.R.T. goals that are truly important to you, you become motivated to figure out ways to attain them. You develop the necessary attitude, abilities, and skills.

2. They take decisive and immediate action There’s a huge difference between knowing how to do something and actually doing it. Knowledge and intelligence are both useless without action.

It’s as simple as that.

3. They focus on being productive, not being busy In his book 'The 4 hour work week' Tim Ferris says, “Slow down and remember this: Most things make no difference. Being busy is often a form of mental laziness – lazy thinking and indiscriminate action.” The solution: Slow down. Breathe. Review your commitments and goals. Put first things first. Do one thing at a time. Start now.

Take a short break in two hours. Repeat.

4. They make logical, informed decisions Don’t let your emotions trump your intelligence. Slow down and think things through before you make any life-changing decisions.

5. They avoid the trap of trying to make things perfect Remember, the real world doesn’t reward perfectionists. It rewards people who get things done.

6. They work outside of their comfort zone Significant moments of opportunity for personal growth and success will come and go throughout your lifetime. If you are looking to make positive changes and new breakthroughs in your life, you will need to embrace these moments of opportunity even though you will never feel 100% ready for them.

7. They keep things simple Leonardo da Vinci once said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” If you complicate your life by inundating yourself with too many choices, your subconscious mind will give up. The solution is to simplify.

8. They focus on making small, continuous improvements Making small, positive changes ~ eating a little healthier, exercising a little, creating some small productive habits, for example ~ is an amazing way to get excited about life and slowly reach the level of success you aspire to. The simple act of getting started and doing something will give you the momentum you need, and soon you’ll find yourself in a positive spiral of changes – one building on the other.

9. They measure and track their progress Successful people track themselves against their goals and clearly know what needs to be done to excel and accelerate.

10. They maintain a positive outlook as they learn from their mistakes Successful people concentrate on the positives – they look for the silver lining in every situation. They know that it is their positivity that will take them to greatness. If you want to be successful, you need to have a positive outlook toward life. Life will test you again and again. If you give in to internal negativity, you will never be able to achieve the marks you have targeted. Don’t let your own negativity sabotage you.

Learn what you can and press forward.

11. They spend time with the right people. Successful people associate with people who are likeminded, focused, and supportive. They reach out to connected, influential individuals who are right for their dreams and goals. You are the sum of the people you spend the most time with. Find your tribe and work together to make a difference in all of your lives.

12. They maintain balance in their life. When you let your work life (or social life, family life, etc.) consume you, and all your energy is focused in that area, it’s extremely easy to lose your balance. You need to balance the various dimensions of your life.

GET INTO THE LYRICS.....SEASONS OF LOVE....

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets

In midnights, in cups of coffee

In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife

In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

How do you measure, a year in the life?

How about love?

How about love?

How about love?

Measure in love

Seasons of love

Seasons of love

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

Five hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

How do you measure the life of a woman or a man?

In truths that she learned

Or in times that he cried

In bridges he burned

Or the way that she died

It's time now, to sing out

Though the story never ends

Let's celebrate

Remember a year in the life of friends

Remember the love

(Oh, you got to, you got to remember the love)

Remember the love

(You know that life is a gift from up above)

Remember the love

(Share love, give love, spread love)

Measure in love

(Measure, measure your life in love)

Seasons of love

Seasons of love

(Measure your life, measure you life in love)

GET INTO THE LYRICS....LOVE AND WAR....

Somebody said everyday was gon' be sunny skies

Only Marvin Gaye and lingerie, I guess somebody lied

Started discussing it to fighting then don't touch me please

Then it's let's stop the madness, just come lay with me

Truth be told, I'm waving my flag before it goes bad

Cause we made it this far on for better or worse

I want to feel it even if it hurts

If I gotta cry to get to the other side

Let's go cause we gon' survive

We stay on the frontlines, yeah but we're still here after the bomb drops

We go so hard, we lose control

The fire starts, then we explode

When the smoke clears, we dry our tears

Only if love and war

Sometimes you're my general

You gotta let go of this place

Sometimes you're my enemy

And I'm throwing grenades

We'll just be chillin' and laughing

And im laying on your chest

Dont know what happen, cause things just went left

But here we go back down that road

That's just the way that it goes

Cause we made it this far on for better or worse

I want to feel it even if it hurts

If I gotta cry to get to the other side

As long as you're there i'll survive

We stay on the frontlines, yeah but we're still here after the bomb drops

We go so hard, we lose control

The fire starts, then we explode

When the smoke clears, we dry our tears

Only if love and war

As long as we walk out that door every fight and when its over

You know im going home

Right back where I belong

I take it up inside me

And We stay on the frontlines, yeah but we're still here after the bomb drops

We go so hard, we lose control

The fire starts, then we explode

When the smoke clears, we dry our tears

Only if love and war

THE WORLD'S RICHEST BLACK WOMAN....IS NOW AFRICAN....

Now, another online publication, Ventures Africa has ranked her as the World’s Richest Black Woman. According to the report, she has ousted Oprah Winfrey from the position.

Ventures Africaclaims that contrary to the Forbes Magazine ranking which pegs her net worth at only $600 million, Alakija is actually worth at least $3.3 billion. She earned most of her wealth from the oil and gas sector.

Alakija, 61, started out her professional career in the mid 70s as a secretary at the now defunct International Merchant Bank of Nigeria, one of the country’s earliest investment banks.

In the early 80s, she quit her job and went on to study Fashion design in England, returning to Nigeria shortly afterwards to start Supreme Stitches, a premium Nigerian fashion label which catered exclusively to upscale clientele.

In May 1993 Alakija applied for an allocation of an Oil Prospecting License (OPL). The license to explore for oil on a 617,000 acre block – (now referred to as OPL 216) was granted to Alakija’s company, Famfa Limited.

In September 1996, she entered into a joint venture agreement with Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Texaco) and appointed the company as a technical adviser for the exploration of the license, transferring 40 percent of her 100 percent stake to Star Deep. Subsequently, Star Deep sold off 8 percent of its stake in OPL 216 to Petrobas, a Brazilian company. Folorunsho Alakija and her family owned 60 percent.

The Ventures Africa report also claimed that Alakija has a real estate portfolio worth over $100 million. Earlier this year, Nigerian and British media announced that Alakija acquired a property at One Hyde Park for $102 million.

She owns a Bombardier Global Express 6000 which she bought earlier this year for a reported $46 million. She is the founder of the Rose of Sharon foundation, a Christian-based charity which gives out small grants to widows.

Alakija is married to Modupe Alakija and they have four grown-up sons together. She also has a grandchild from her first son. Modupe Alakija, her husband is the Chairman of Famfa Oil. Her sons run the company.

WHAT HE SAID.....ROB K....(DUDE MUST HAVE AN STD)

When a woman cheats on you with one man I can live with that. People make mistakes, trust me. I have forgiven numerous times…

But when a woman disrespects herself by messing with more than 20 men all while being in a relationship with a Faithful man. I just don’t get how a woman can do that to her body. And your career hasn’t even launched yet. I don’t put up with sloppiness. LOYALTY.

This is a lesson to all the young women out there to not have unprotected sex with multiple men especially while in a relationship. RESPECT THY SELF!

MORE REASON TO LOVE MAYOR BOOKER...PLEDGES TO LIVE OFF "FOOD STAMPS" FOR A WEEK.....

Mayor Cory Booker said he will live on food stamps for a week starting Tuesday.

Booker told The Associated Press on Thursday that he will honor the challenge he made to a Twitter follower earlier this month and try living on the monetary equivalent of food stamps for at least a week.

“December 4 to 11. Seven days,” Booker said after the ribbon cutting for new loft apartments in Newark. He said he will be limited to $1.40 for each meal.

The North Carolina woman Booker challenged plans to accept, but she is not sure she will do it next week.

The woman, who uses the Twitter handle (at)MWadeNC and goes by the name TwitWit, spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because she says she has received threats.

She said she is upset that Booker didn’t consult with her before picking the dates. She said Booker sent her a tweet this week saying his staff would be in touch, but she has heard nothing since.

“I don’t think it’s fair to be challenged and just find out from the Internet when I’m supposed to take part,” she said in a telephone interview. “I would have appreciated the consideration that I have a life as well.”

Nevertheless, she said she will participate in the challenge for at least a week, possibly two.

The average monthly food stamp benefit was $133.26 per person in New Jersey in fiscal year 2011, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. As mayor, Booker makes about 100 times that amount, $13,400 a month.

Politicians and community leaders around the country have taken on similar challenges in recent years to highlight the difficulty of relying solely on government aid for nutrition.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and U.S. Rep. Bob Brady lived on food stamps for a week earlier this year, and the mayors of Las Vegas and Phoenix, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and the former governor of Oregon all did so within the past few years.

Most participated in the “Food Stamp Challenge,” a program from the nonprofit Food Research and Action Center that gives out tools to help organizations and individuals live on a food stamp budget, typically for a week. It even developed a how-to-guide for members of Congress, which includes testimonials from eight politicians.

Celebrity chef Mario Batali and his family also did the challenge earlier this year. An AmeriCorps member serving as the community service coordinator at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut challenged her campus to try it for a week.

Booker, a prolific Twitter user who has 1.2 million followers, has said he wants the public to participate and on Thursday said he will soon announce a celebrity who will also take part.

The North Carolina woman said she thinks it would be “great” if high-profile people tried to live on the equivalent of food stamps.

“I think everybody should do this,” she said.

THE IMPORTANCE OF FATHERS BEING IN THEIR SONS LIVES......DEEP

Boys learn how to handle their emotions in ways that only a man can teach them.

In the absence of a father figure, he could only observe his mother’s highly emotional reactions when she was angry.
