The upcoming film, centers around Glen Deeds, an affluent, romantically engaged businessman who falls for a struggling, single mother (Thandie Newton). Tyler Perry, who plays the title role, tells Black Film:
It’s a romantic comedy that I play the lead role in. It’s about a guy that’s torn between the girl he’s going to marry and a new girl that he just meets and he falls in love with. So that’s a little different for me.
The Cast also features Phylicia Rashad and Brian White, however, Tyler Perry’s popular character ‘Madea” will not be making an appearance in this film.
