I had a pretty decent weekend...Friday night after work I went over to Mr.'s house and had to wait for him to get in from the gym. We jumped into the shower and raced up 85 to the movie theater. Since I'm told I always want to have my way, I let him pick the movie. We ended up watching Knowing, Nick Cage movie basically about the world coming to an end.
The movie was aiight...I was excited at some parts and ended up falling asleep at others. Since Mr. was late coming in from the gym, I had to settle for eating Subway in the car before the movie. It was cool...went back to the house and crashed.
Saturday was long as shit...I went to my house to shit, shower and shave my head. I was meeting up with my baby's mother to go shopping for some clothes. We ended up going up GA 400 to the North Georgia Outlet. The drive is definitely far but worth it...we got the baby some stuff from Baby Polo and then went to the Polo store. Decent shopping trip. I'm into classic clothes and you can't go wrong with Polo.
Fast forward past the drive back to Atlanta and dinner....Saturday got better. I called my boy R to hang out since I don't really hang out too tough. We stop at this "house party" that was in full swing by the time we get there....Nice crowd. Typical of Atlanta. I decide I want to get drunk so we head to by homeboys condo downtown. He plays professional football so his spot is off the chain. Joe-Joe, the football player wants up to give up the details of the party (he doesn't go to too many functions because he thinks people will recognize him). We end up smoking a blunt and drinking some vodka so I can get hyped up enough to go to a "special club".
I can describe the whole club experience in a few words since the actual location is not an actual club but a restaurant that has been converted at night. Hot, dark, TOO SMALL, packed, expensive(when did clubs start charging $12 to get in) and overall just aiight...Nothing major. We danced a few hood songs, walked around trying to avoid bumping people and both decided to bounce.
I said in an earlier post, I either start going out TOO early or Atlanta is just staying the same and not exciting me. The same crowds, same promoters, same vibe in all of the clubs.
Sunday was cool and laid back. I went to church to an amazing service. I had cooked most of dinner before leaving the house so after church, I went over to Mr.'s house to finish up and we ate. Crashed on the couch for a while and watched TV for the rest of the night til about 10.
I hit up Central Park in Decatur for the strip show. Off the chain. 4 of the 7 dancers were hot and worth the $7 dollars. The drinks were strong and the free buffet was pretty good(I only eat because I know dude that cooks).
I actually like chilling in strip clubs because you get to see hot dudes and sexy females chilling without feeling the need to dance or move around or do SOMETHING...
The weekend was decent overall....Back to the work week and now I'm leaving for the weekend.
