Two tears in a bucket is a quote that basically means life goes on but does anyone know any more about what it means in depth or where it came from?
It is actually an old saying. The meaning is self explanitory--two tears in a bucket amount to nothing in the grand scheme. Or that it is no big deal. Used in 1992 by the rap group A Tribe Called Quest, in their song "Scenario (Remix)", it has since been referenced in several films, songs and books, including "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"--where it was famously delivered by The Lady Chablis. The rapper Young Jeezy also mentions it as an 'oh well' phrase in "I'm Back", he says "Two tears in a bucket, who got that work?".
