When the angel spoke to Joseph I am sure he was quite confused thinking, yes, I am engaged, but that’s as far as Mary and I have gotten. The Lord sent his angel then to say what was going to happen, and he sends his angels today to let us know what to expect and what is going to happen in our lives. We are so busy living do we take the time to seek God and listen to the angels he will place in our lives? The Lord will bring to pass everything He has said even through an angel.
