TO CANT SEEM TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT....EVER
Terrell Owens went on his national TV show and lobbed insults at former Philadelphia Eagles teammates Donovan McNabb and Andy Reid on Tuesday night. Owens also implied that he was behind several Twitter messages he first blamed on “his brother” that ripped McNabb.
Then Owens had a back-handed compliment for his former Eagles’ coach, Reid. Owens is now playing for the 2-7 Cincinnati Bengals, and while putting up big numbers, his reluctance to catch passes in the middle of the field has cost the Bengals dearly.
“My thing is I don’t have anything against Donovan. Trust me I’m all happy that he got a $78 million contract but how do they justify the $78 million contract when just two weeks ago the head coach just benched the guy because he wasn’t playing well or couldn’t conduct the two-minute offense, that’s all I’m saying,” Owens said.
On Monday night, Owens said McNabb didn’t deserve his contract. Owens went on to say Reid made McNabb look good.
“I don’t know how much I can say about Andy Reid, this guy is a mastermind. Look at this guy on the sidelines, he looks like the Pillsbury doughboy but this guy is very smart,” McNabb said.
McNabb had already responded to Owens’ comments.
“It’s unbelievable how they can comment on what I’m doing over here,” McNabb said about Owens on Tuesday. McNabb also said Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer makes more money than he does and cited the Bengals’ 2-7 record.
Owens also went out of his way to praise Michael Vick on Monday night.
