First America elects a half black man as president of the United States, and now a black woman has been chosen Homecoming Queen at the University of Mississippi! “I am still in shock, but I am definitely very excited,” said Courtney Pearson, a 21 yr. old senior English secondary education major.
Ole Miss has a long history of racism on its storied campus, where students still proudly affix confederate flag stickers to their bumpers.
