Time and Season
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
As 2009 comes to a close, let's start 2010 realizing we have no time to waste. We must seize every moment of opportunity to share the Good News of the Gospel, and show Love one to another.
In 2010, let's not hold on to a season that God is moving us from just because it's warm and cozy, or cool and fun. Our seasons will hold something new and exciting, but we must hold to our faith that God has everything we need for the season we are in, and will deliver right on time.
Be blessed in this New Year!

BE THANKFUL EVERYDAY...YOUR LIFE COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE...
Around 225,000 children living in Haiti undergo their daily lives as undocumented domestic workers, nothing more than modern-day slaves.
A study conducted by the Pan American Development Foundation found that Restaveks, poor children sent by their families to work at private residences, are more common than they were originally believed to be.
According to the study, the principle of the practice lies in the understanding that parent “turn over child-rearing responsibility to another household in exchange for the child's unpaid domestic service.”
Most restavek children are sent from poor environments to another that may be a bit less poor, with some given educational opportunities in exchange for the their servitude.
Two-thirds of all child slaves are female and will most likely to be abused or raped by a member of their new family.
The study, which was conducted door to door, also found that 30% of households in Haiti held restavek children while 22% of all children surveyed were living away from home.
Haiti is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere. Over 78% of its people survive on less than $2 a day.
THANK YOU LORD

HOODEST SLANG TERMS OF 2009...WHICH ONES DO YOU USE?
10.) “Chopped down” - a HOOD term used to describe when two people are getting it in or sexually engaging wheather it’s one night, months or a lifetime. If you got the buns you’ve been chopped down.
9.) Autotune – nobody really understood what autotune is until Jay-Z told it to die … or a little before because music nowadays has folks wondering why everybody sounds like T-Pain or Roger Troutman for the oldheads.
8.) Fail – a sad or unrealistic attempt to pull something off with great ease but from the gate it was unsuccessful and the person probably knew it or is in a state of denial.
7.) “Miss me with the BS” – in other words, don’t approach anyone fully aware that you’re trying to play him or her. Try it on a sucka that you can run game on.
6.) Twitter - overnight networking phenomenon that propelled someone to baller status for such an ingenious idea. Celebs and everyday folks have now found a way to communicate instantaneously … “tweeting.” Not too long ago, most were asking, “what is this ‘Twitter’ ish I keep hearing about?”
5.) “Tea bagger” – became a politically incorrect term when health care reform became an issue. “Tea Parties” were the folks who marched outside the White House and started fights at town hall meetings because they disagree with President Obama’s agenda. While the true slang term refers to someone who sucks on scrotums … somehow “Tea Party Protesters” adopted the title.
4.) “No Homo” – fellas, it’s okay for you to express your love to your brethren as long as you follow up with this catchphrase. Example: “You know Tony, you’re a good-looking guy No homo. No homo.” *casually* “You have no game.”
3.) “Sexting” - you know those raunchy text messages you get from your significant other describing all the things they want to do to your body. It’s not officially sexting until you get one back and it becomes an exchange. You can’t be the only one “sexting.”
2.) “Kill yo’ self” – this is wrong on so many levels because if someone was really fragile and wanted to take their own life and they did because you told them, you would feel guilty for the rest. But when used in a caring sense, all it means is “don’t do that” or “why would you do that? You might as well …”
1.) “Chris Brown’d” – when a man physically assaults a woman in an angry fit of rage. Ok, it’s terrible. We know. But it is what is is. Sorry Breezy.
9.) Autotune – nobody really understood what autotune is until Jay-Z told it to die … or a little before because music nowadays has folks wondering why everybody sounds like T-Pain or Roger Troutman for the oldheads.

MEERRY CHRISTMAS DAY....
If God Says It You Can Surely Believe It
Matthew 1:21 (AMP) She shall bear a son and you shall call his name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior, for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].
When the angel spoke to Joseph I am sure he was quite confused thinking, yes, I am engaged, but that’s as far as Mary and I have gotten. The Lord sent his angel then to say what was going to happen, and he sends his angels today to let us know what to expect and what is going to happen in our lives. We are so busy living do we take the time to seek God and listen to the angels he will place in our lives? The Lord will bring to pass everything He has said even through an angel.
Have a Blessed Christmas Day!

CHOOSE YOUR POSITION BASED ON DICK SIZE....
Positions Based On DICK SIZE.....
Are you blessed by the gods with a big......dick? Or are you just strolling along with the average at about 5 or 6"? Well guess what no matter what size you are there's a position for it. These positions are meant to make it comfortable for both you and your partner. These positions are meant to use your dick at its full potential.
"I'm Your Average Joe"
With an average dick size lets just take it to the dog pound! Doggy style is the best position for you to top your partner in. Another position where you are in control most of the time. You are holding that waist and just thrusting yourself into your partner. Or if your partner is daring they will be throwing it back at you and you can just put your hands behind your head.
You can also do this position standing up and with the two of you standing up have your bottom begin to touch their toes! While in this position do your partner a favor and do the reach around PLEASE!
"I Have A Tiny Dick"
With a small unit the best position for you would be to have your partner lie on their back with legs propped on your shoulders and you digging deep in it because it allows for deeper penetration and gives you complete control. While in this position make sure your partner crosses their ankles behind your neck because that will tighten the area you're getting into and can give you that full feeling inside.
"I'm Packing"
If you are larger than average, let your partner ride. Because you have a larger penis there may be a little difficult for your partner to get all of you inside them so let them have some control by being on top of you and allowing their penis inside you at a pace they are comfortable with.
I know how you like to watch the action and this is the best way to watch it! You can sit up or lie down which ever feels comfortable for you. If your partner isn't that attractive have them face away from you so you can have whatever fantasy you want.
"Dude, I Gotta Big Dick"
So you have the biggest dick in the world. Because you do you need to keep your partner in mind and make sure you aren't hurting them. The best position for you to kneel in a type of praying position keeping your back straight. You have your partners legs on your shoulders and they are supported by their shoulders. To lock your partner into this position, wrap your arms around their upper thighs. With this position you will slip right in for complete pleasure for you and your partner

FIRST LEGAL MALE BROTHEL IN NEVADA COMING SOON.....
The owner of a brothel, located more than a two hour drive from Las Vegas, said she hopes to hire Nevada’s first legal male prostitutes within…
…a month, now that state health officials have approved a method to test men for infectious diseases. The world is ready for women, or even other men, to legally buy sex, said Shady Lady Ranch owner Bobbi Davis. Plus, being the first to offer male service could boost business in tough economic times, she said. “With so many other male revues going on in Vegas, we thought it was time to give this a try,” Davis told The Associated Press.
Until now, men have been effectively barred from legally plying the world’s oldest profession in Nevada by the specificity of a state health law requiring prostitutes to undergo frequent cervical testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
The health board approved a regulation to allow urethral testing for men — a crucial rule change by the state agency with ultimate power over whether prostitutes can or can’t work.
For more than 25 years, no licensed female prostitute in Nevada has contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, said George Flint, a Reno wedding chapel owner and longtime lobbyist for the Nevada Brothel Owners Association.
“My concern is that we continue to maintain that kind of record,” he said. Prostitution has been legal in rural Nevada counties since 1971 under strict state health board oversight but is against the law in the Las Vegas and Reno areas. “I think the Legislature is really going to give me some heartburn over this,” Flint said in a telephone interview after appearing before the state Health Board in Carson City on Friday to endorse the Shady Lady proposal.
“But I think it’s an inevitability,” he added, “and the brothel association has reluctantly agreed to support this as a test.” Davis said she wants to add two men to the three women she currently has living and working at her compound of trailers off U.S. 95 about 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas. She said the women usually charge about $300 per hour for the five to 20 customers who visit on any given night.

WHAT SEPERATES A MAN FROM A BOY....
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you But make allowance for their doubting too, If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream--and not make dreams your master, If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!" If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you; If all men count with you, but none too much, If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

NATURAL BEAUTY ONE OF THE DEADLIEST PLACES ON EARTH.....
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica is deploying more than 700 police officers to high-crime areas over the holiday season as the island nears a record number of killings.
Assistant Police Chief Glenmore Hinds says officers will patrol malls, bus stations and other busy spots across the island's 14 parishes.
He said Wednesday that some officers have been reassigned from desk duties while others are recent academy graduates.
Police expect to launch a new anti-gang initiative after recently announcing that nearly 1,600 killings have been reported so far this year, slightly more than all of 2008.
A record 1,674 persons were killed in Jamaica in 2005.

MORE REASON TO LOVE OUR PRESIDENT....
“I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great hypocrisy humility,” said Obama in Oslo, Norway today. “It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations – that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.”

10 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BECOMING A HOMEOWNER....2009 AND BEYOND
1. Credit requirements for loans are still very tight. With unemployment rates still high, banks are tightening up on lending standards for all borrowers. Even those with great credit histories.
2. Expect for Down payments to be higher than normal. Loans backed by the Federal Housing Administration are at the low-end of the spectrum and come with minimum down payments of 3.5 percent. To get the best rate, you should have at least 20 percent for a down payment.
3. A Credit Score of 730 or higher. In order to get the best mortgage rate, a borrower should have a FICO score of at least 730. You should also be able to fully document your income and assets. To ensure that your credit score is as strong as possible, make sure to access your credit report in advance to see what you’re working with.
4. If you don’t meet good requirements to borrow on the FHA. The FHA is a federal agency that insures mortgage loans against default. Standards for FHA
loans are much lower than those for private lenders. The average credit score for FHA borrowers is about 690, and the minimum down payment is 3.5 percent.
5. With the recession as a factor, the FHA has increased. The FHA now guarantees nearly 3 of every 10 new home mortgages. This is a major increase opposed to 2006 when the agency only backed roughly 3 percent of new home loans.
6. Beware of Asset Purchase Program Changes. The Federal asset purchase program is scheduled to expire at the end of 2010, which could lead to higher rates. Keep in mind that the Fed has already extended this program once.
7. Stay Away from Jumbo Loans. Many borrowers won’t be able to obtain them. Most banks apply much stricter lending standards to them. Stay within your means.
8. Knowledge about Federal Fund Rates. While an increased federal funds rate could bring adjustable rate mortgages or higher home equity lines of credit, it has little direct influence on fixed mortgage rates.
9. Recovery in the Market could Equal Increased Mortgage Costs. Economic improvement could create more demand for credit, which will push rates higher. Economic improvement and other factors could raise rates on 30-year fixed mortgages as high as 5.75 percent as soon as summertime.
10. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Rebuilding is Crucial. The two mortgage finance giants buy home loans from banks and are a key source of liquidity for the market. Depending on how soon they rebuild, we could have some issues in the supply chains with mortgages.

BEST R&B DUET OF ALL TIME....HANDS DOWN
The video, shot in April 1998, begins with the girls in their apartments, watching television. Brandy watches the The Jerry Springer Show (whose episode title is that of the song) but then Monica accidentally turns Brandy's TV to a romantic movie, in which Monica is watching on her own TV set. Whenever Brandy or Monica turns the channel, the other's TV stays on that channel and they grow sick of it. They then give up and start to sing. The next scene shows Brandy and Monica discussing their problem with their separate groups of friends. The video premiered on Wednesday, April 29, 1998. The "boy" himself (played by Mekhi Phifer, who played Brandy's boyfriend in the movie I Still Know What You Did Last Summer) then appears outside the two girls apartment, where all their friends walk by him as they exit their respective friends place.. The girls are in pajamas next, and then each one calls the man over to choose. After Brandy and Monica fight with words, the man comes to the apartment, frustrated over who to choose. The door opens, and only Brandy is shown. Then it swings a little wider and Monica comes. The man gets a startled expression, and the door is slammed in his face. The video was nominated for two 1998 MTV Video Music Awards, for Best R&B Video, and Video of the Year.

FAIR WEATHER FRIEND-
a psuedo friend. One who pretneds to be your friend when things are good. Leaves when things go astray or are not quite like they think they should be.
A person that is a brilliant friend while things are going well, but when the gong gets tough, the person ups and leaves.
a friend who only sticks by you when things are going well.

RE-POST....SIMPLE FRIENDS VS. REAL FRIENDS
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself
A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in their address book.
A simple friend brings a flowers to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after they've gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history. A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument. A real friend calls you after you had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!

HAPPENING IN ATLANTA OVER THE WEEKEND...CRIME
Even by metro Atlanta standards, it was a grisly weekend.
The deadly chain of unrelated incidents began on Moreland Avenue Friday night -- where a liquor store clerk was killed by an armed robber -- and continued through Sunday when human remains were found in a southwest Atlanta manhole.
By the time the weekend ended, police were investigating additional killings in Roswell, College Park, East Point and Ellenwood.
Here's a rundown:
Atlanta: Moreland Package Store employee Kavader M. McKibben, 21, was shot and killed during an armed robbery around 10 p.m. Friday. The store owner then wounded the suspect, Terrone Anthony, 19, in a shootout. Anthony is charged with murder, and police continue to look for his alleged accomplice.
East Point: A 64-year-old man was found shot to death in his home on Ben Hill Road Saturday evening. Police are looking for his roommate, Gregory Allen Cooper, who has been missing since Thursday. They are calling Cooper a "person of interest."
College Park: Early Sunday morning, security guards at the Oceans 66 nightclub shot and killed a patron who had brought a gun inside and started firing, police said. Jeffrey Bing, 27, got unruly when guards questioned him about the gun and "started shooting at the security officers and patrons," Sgt. Eddie Atkins said.
Roswell: A 42-year-old man was shot as he got out of his car at the Frazier Street Apartments at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Ismael Cervantes Orta then drove a half-mile to Marlin Drive, where he crashed his car. He died later at North Fulton Regional Hospital.
Ellenwood: Nineteen-year-old Djwan Crocker was fatally shot at the Cobblestone Flat Apartments on Rex Road around 9 p.m. Sunday, Clayton County police said. Police are looking for four men in a green Toyota Camry who had been cruising the apartment complex for days.
Atlanta: City workers found human remains in a manhole on Harwell Road. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office is testing the remains for identification and cause of death, and Atlanta homicide detectives are investigating.

SINGER MONICA PUT ON BLAST FOR LIFESTLE...SAD BUT TRUE
I think that this is a horrible lesson for people to go off, to live with a man have babies with a man have unprotected sex with a man, buy him a car and use the Bible to justify what you are doing. A man gives you a Gucci purse and you spread your legs *Tiny* . If he loved you so much why won’t he marry you, why does he continue to sleep around??? Why do you allow him to have kids with other women if you truly want him *Toya*
Why do you live with a man, have premarital sex, but wont marry him *Monica*
This illegitimacy that's going around is ruining black families everywhere and that is the reality, like [someone] said to me, to those who are given much more is required. These girls talk about how they want to be role models and how they want people to look up to them, but are they not aware of the negative example they are setting?? And once again why is this the examples kids are supposed to look up to. I would be so proud and happy if Diddy married Kim Porter, if Monica married Rocko, if Tiny married TI instead of playing house.
If you want to live a life of sin that’s fine, but don’t be upset when people judge you and if they do, don’t throw out bible versus to justify what you do or don'tt. Because people could easily turn the next page and find something demeaning to you and your lifestyle.

ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME...IN THE BEGINNING
If I find a way to love you
Can I contemplate
Can I come today inside your lovin'
I know sometime in our lives
We both will fly high
Into paradise uh huh
Cause it's so very nice
For lovers
And that's why
I just wanna be your
I just want to be your girl
I just wanna be your
Why won't you just let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
I just need to be your girl
I just wanna be your
No matter how long it takes
I've got time, baby I'll wait
To be your's that would make me so happy
I love the life you live
And you will give
And I'll be there recieving
And my heart is gonna start believing
Believing in me
You know I love you so much
Beyond compare
Oh, you know my love is there
Just for you
No one, no one else, cause
I just wanna be your
Why won't you just let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
Please let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
Why won't you just let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
No matter how long it takes
I've got time, baby I'll wait
To be your's that would make me so happy
Can't you see
You're the one for me
Cause no other guy will do
I've made plans for me and you
Forever
Forever
Oh

Why won't you just let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
I need to be happy baby
I just wanna be your
Won't you let me, won't you let me be your girl
I just wanna be your
Your, your, your girl

Oh, all times baby
I just gotta be, I just gotta be, I just gotta be your girl
Ain't nothing else in this world
I'd rather do than be with you...
A NAME MEANS SOMETIMES GETTING A THE JOB OR BEING BYPASSED
Johnny R. Williams, 30, would appear to be an unlikely person to have to fret about the impact of race on his job search, with companies like JPMorgan Chase and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago on his résumé.
Barry Jabbar Sykes goes by Barry J. Sykes in his job hunt.
But after graduating from business school last year and not having much success garnering interviews, he decided to retool his résumé, scrubbing it of any details that might tip off his skin color. His membership, for instance, in the African-American business students association? Deleted.
“If they’re going to X me,” Mr. Williams said, “I’d like to at least get in the door first.”
Similarly, Barry Jabbar Sykes, 37, who has a degree in mathematics from Morehouse College, a historically black college in Atlanta, now uses Barry J. Sykes in his continuing search for an information technology position, even though he has gone by Jabbar his whole life.
“Barry sounds like I could be from Ireland,” he said.
That race remains a serious obstacle in the job market for African-Americans, even those with degrees from respected colleges, may seem to some people a jarring contrast to decades of progress by blacks, culminating in President Obama’s election.
But there is ample evidence that racial inequities remain when it comes to employment. Black joblessness has long far outstripped that of whites. And strikingly, the disparity for the first 10 months of this year, as the recession has dragged on, has been even more pronounced for those with college degrees, compared with those without. Education, it seems, does not level the playing field — in fact, it appears to have made it more uneven.
College-educated black men, especially, have struggled relative to their white counterparts in this downturn, according to figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate for black male college graduates 25 and older in 2009 has been nearly twice that of white male college graduates — 8.4 percent compared with 4.4 percent.
Various academic studies have confirmed that black job seekers have a harder time than whites. A study published several years ago in The American Economic Review titled “Are Emily and Greg More Employable than Lakisha and Jamal?” found that applicants with black-sounding names received 50 percent fewer callbacks than those with white-sounding names.
A more recent study, published this year in The Journal of Labor Economics found white, Asian and Hispanic managers tended to hire more whites and fewer blacks than black managers did.
The discrimination is rarely overt, according to interviews with more than two dozen college-educated black job seekers around the country, many of them out of work for months. Instead, those interviewed told subtler stories, referring to surprised looks and offhand comments, interviews that fell apart almost as soon as they began, and the sudden loss of interest from companies after meetings.
Whether or not each case actually involved bias, the possibility has furnished an additional agonizing layer of second-guessing for many as their job searches have dragged on.
“It does weigh on you in the search because you’re wondering, how much is race playing a factor in whether I’m even getting a first call, or whether I’m even getting an in-person interview once they hear my voice and they know I’m probably African-American?” said Terelle Hairston, 25, a graduate of Yale University who has been looking for work since the summer while also trying to get a marketing consulting start-up off the ground. “You even worry that the hiring manager may not be as interested in diversity as the H.R. manager or upper management.”
Mr. Williams recently applied to a Dallas money management firm that had posted a position with top business schools. The hiring manager had seemed ecstatic to hear from him, telling him they had trouble getting people from prestigious business schools to move to the area. Mr. Williams had left New York and moved back in with his parents in Dallas to save money.
But when Mr. Williams later met two men from the firm for lunch, he said they appeared stunned when he strolled up to introduce himself.
“Their eyes kind of hit the ceiling a bit,” he said. “It was kind of quiet for about 45 seconds.”
The company’s interest in him quickly cooled, setting off the inevitable questions in his mind.
Discrimination in many cases may not even be intentional, some job seekers pointed out, but simply a matter of people gravitating toward similar people, casting about for the right “cultural fit,” a buzzword often heard in corporate circles.
There is also the matter of how many jobs, especially higher-level ones, are never even posted and depend on word-of-mouth and informal networks, in many cases leaving blacks at a disadvantage. A recent study published in the academic journal Social Problems found that white males receive substantially more job leads for high-level supervisory positions than women and members of minorities.
Many interviewed, however, wrestled with “pulling the race card,” groping between their cynicism and desire to avoid the stigma that blacks are too quick to claim victimhood. After all, many had gone to good schools and had accomplished résumés. Some had grown up in well-to-do settings, with parents who had raised them never to doubt how high they could climb. Moreover, there is President Obama, perhaps the ultimate embodiment of that belief.
Certainly, they conceded, there are times when their race can be beneficial, particularly with companies that have diversity programs. But many said they sensed that such opportunities had been cut back over the years and even more during the downturn. Others speculated there was now more of a tendency to deem diversity unnecessary after Mr. Obama’s triumph.
In fact, whether Mr. Obama’s election has been good or bad for their job prospects is hotly debated. Several interviewed went so far as to say that they believed there was only so much progress that many in the country could take, and that there was now a backlash against blacks.
“There is resentment toward his presidency among some because of his race,” said Edward Verner, a Morehouse alumnus from New Jersey who was laid off as a regional sales manager and has been able to find only part-time work. “This has affected well-educated, African-American job seekers.”
It is difficult to overstate the degree that they say race permeates nearly every aspect of their job searches, from how early they show up to interviews to the kinds of anecdotes they try to come up with.
“You want to be a nonthreatening, professional black guy,” said Winston Bell, 40, of Cleveland, who has been looking for a job in business development.
He drew an analogy to several prominent black sports broadcasters. “You don’t want to be Stephen A. Smith. You want to be Bryant Gumbel. You don’t even want to be Stuart Scott. You don’t want to be, ‘Booyah.’ ”
Nearly all said they agonized over job applications that asked them whether they would like to identify their race. Most said they usually did not.

THE REAL RICKY ROSS....
Ricky Donnell Ross (born May 3, 1960), also known as "Freeway" Ricky Ross , was a drug trafficker best known for the "drug empire" that he presided over in Los Angeles, in the early 1980s. The nickname "Freeway" came from Ross owning several properties along the Harbor Freeway. His old house he grew up in is where a freeway now stands. During the height of his drug dealing, Ross claims to have made "2-3 million dollars a week".
In 1996, Ross was sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of trying to purchase more than 100 kilograms of cocaine from a federal agent. Ross became the subject of controversy later that year when a series of articles by journalist Gary Webb in the San Jose Mercury News brought to light a connection between one of Ross's cocaine sources, Danilo Blandon, and the CIA as part of the Iran-Contra scandal. The decision in Ross's case was brought to a federal court of appeals where his sentence was reduced to 20 years. His sentence has since been reduced further for being a model prisoner and he was moved to a halfway house in California in March 2009, and was released on September 29, 2009.
SHOUT OUT TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS....THE 80'S....WEBSTER
The show, set in Chicago, revolved around Webster Long, a seven-year-old African-American orphan (Emmanuel Lewis) whose biological parents, Travis and Gert Long, were recently killed in a car accident. He is then taken in by retired football star George Papadapolis (Alex Karras), with whom Travis had played professional football in the 1970s, and his wife Katherine (Susan Clark), an upper crust socialite with no housekeeping skills whatsoever.
George and Katherine's new married life was part of the premise, but it was Webster who was the main focus of the show. The Papadopolises lived in a luxurious high-rise apartment in Chicago, with burly George now working as a sportscaster at local station WBJX-TV, and Katherine becoming an accomplished family psychologist. Sarcastic Jerry Silver (Henry Polic II) was Katherine's male secretary, who was her professional and personal confidant. The apartment complex shown in exterior shots of the first two seasons is The Mirabella condominium building, located at 10430 Wilshire Blvd, in the Westwood district of Los Angeles, California.
